Comment 703 for bug 182262

I had this bug after upgrading my Hardy installation today. I ran "apt-get upgrade -y" as root and left my PC (I locked the screen). When I came back a message showed up that gnome-screensaver-gl-helper was crashed, and apport asked me to send a bug report.

I can' t reproduce this bug with running /usr/lib/gnome-screensaver/gnome-screensaver-gl-helper from command-line. I don't know what that program has to do, but when I run it I only get "0X21" on the standard output.
