When screensaver activates, Banshee playback stops

I was listening to music in Banshee when suddenly the music stops as the screensaver comes on.

http://askubuntu.com/questions/69615 suggests Caffeine as a solution. It can apparently be used to inhibit launching of the screensaver on-command or when a white-listed program is running. I frequently listen to music while not using the computer or leave Banshee running when I'm not actively listening to music, so Caffeine is not a sufficient long-term fix.

I'm on Ubuntu 11.10 and am fully updated with the repositories. I have one external Banshee plugin installed, but it shouldn't be related (just starts up a web server for use with the Banshee Remote for Android).

I should note that just now the screensaver kicked on and /didn't/ stop the audio. I'm going to let it kick on again here in a bit and see what happens.

Assign to G-P-M because I think that the responsible of the starti9ng of the screensaver when another apps is running is just it and only it can manage this
