Bug Description

Mint13-Cinnamon64bit

While inactive for cca 20 min, Banshee music playback pauses after song ends. When I come back, playback resumes. I have default 10 min timeout monitor dim with immediate screen-lock.

Is this a laptop or a desktop?
Has it done this from start?
Do you have extension for Banshee?
Do you have any screensaver (installed/active)?

Cinnamon has it's own bugtracker:
https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon/issues?page=1&state=open
but I think that this comes from the underlying Gnome components, so the link you provide in the bug description probably apply to your case. This could be a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-power-manager/+bug/893696

Try the settings in:
gnome-power-preferences
(Run that "gnome-power-preferences" from the command line. I'm not on Cinnamon right now so I don't know for sure this is the same but it should be)

It is a laptop (ASUS G73JH), though connected to AC all the time.
Yes it does from the beginning of Mint13 installation and case can be repeated any time, my system is up to date.
No I do not have any screensaver, just default screen dim.

I will try disabling all extensions in Banshee later and try other players too.

OK, all extensions disabled and Banshee plays until regular system suspend. So it looks like some network addon doing this.
