Problem:
Screen does not dim on a low battery.

Description:
I am using a Samsung r55 (http://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/SamsungR55) .

When the battery is running out I get warnings and before the battery completely runs out Ubuntu shuts down as expected. What it does not do is dim the screen on a low battery.

Could this be related to bug #70020 in which I can not even use the brightness keys?
