I noticed the topic was changed to say "GPM only recognises first battery".

This is not the case. Both acpi and gpm can see
both my batteries and I have attached a screen shot of the Device Information tab that shows it knows about both batteries.

However, the Charge History, Power History tabs do not appear to know about two batteries
