Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
ver: 2:2.6.3-0
distro: ubuntu 9.04
kernel: severals, tried: 2.6.28 till 2.6.30 ( the latest is the best for now but the problem still occurs)
Can't set up lcd brightness through xbacklight or by /sys/video...
the function keys are working in bios/gru, but after kernel is loaded they're dead... but i can see them in dmesg ...
this is probably related to the intel gma driver,
my gma is:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
the chipset is ICH7 ..
the lappie is:
