Comment 9 for bug 297461

Now my clock has stopped. I have also lost all my icons in the notification area. They are still there, I can get mouseover tooltips and clicking on them works. If I open the clock applet the current time is running.

Doing a 'killall gnome-panel' restarts the whole gnome-panel and gets it working again.
