Comment 15 for bug 297461

I have the same problem, clock in panel freezes without any obvious reason. There is nothing I can relate this behavior to. In panel clock does freeze, but when I open clock applet it shows correct time. Interesting in my case is that same time when clock freeze my network manager icon becomes invisible. Network is functioning normally and icon is there (I can see empty space) but literally becomes invisible. If I do left or right click on space where nm ought to be I get menu and can modify options. It simply becomes invisible.
