Comment 0 for bug 12445

There is the need of a coherent behaviour on left clic on menu items.

A popup menu that offers at leats to put the item on the pannel is good but
there is a lot of menu item that do not have this behaviour:
the launch application in the Applications menu, all items in the Places menu
and some items in the Desktop menu.

You can add specific option for some items, especially in the Places menu :
remove for favorite directories
unmount/eject for devices
disconnect for servers

Remark, I think the left clik must either open a popup menu or do nothing.
