This is fixed by the patch mentioned here: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=710515 (change FILES to FILE in the postrm script)

On my system, this affected gnome-nibbles and gnome-robots (version 1:3.8.0-0ubuntu1 of each).
