Binary package hint: gnome-nettool

Using a Ubuntu 10.10, is not possible to ping any network address from any network or computer; since in Ubuntu 10.04 it was.

It was tested with two different computers in two different networks; and one of those networks haven't got for sure any firewall or filtering rule, and was possible to ping network addresses using web-pages. The bug just appeared after updating to Ubuntu 10.10; and in one computer was done using the update manager and in the other with the Ubuntu 10.10 compact disk, by formatting the hole computer before in the second case.

This bug can be related with the "Uncomplicated Firewall" (ufw) package.
