Bug Description

gnome-mplayer is great except for the volume widget. Please remove it or fix it.

I can crash gnome-mplayer by using the volume widget.
steps:
click once on volume widget to open the pop-up volume control. click the plus.
right click on the video twice or 3 times. should not crash

Also I have consistent problems when the volume widget steals mouse focus. Whereever I move the mouse, the volume goes up and down.
Also I have consistent problems when the pop-up volume control appears, but will not disappear until I click the little drag bar once.

I can't reproduce the crash with 1.0.6-1. Could you please test the version from quantal? Thanks.

tested as requested, seems to crash only if the mouse pointer is moved off the volume control before right-clicking

if you drag the volume, but the mouse leaves the drag area during the drag, then right clicks

Some release of gnome-mplayer happened in the mean time. Is this still an issue with 1.0.8-1?
