Bug Description
Under mplayer2, we have:-
Provides: mplayer
Replaces: mplayer
Conflicts: mplayer.
Under gnome-mplayer, we have:-
Depends: mplayer (>= 1.0~) | mplayer-nogui (>= 1.0~)
As a result of the versioned dependency, mplayer2 does not fulfil mplayer (>= 1.0~), and installing mplayer2 forces mplayer and subsequently gnome-mplayer to be removed, and vice versa.
