I enabled -proposed and updated gnome-maps to version 42.3-0ubuntu1.
As per test case I established that maps for various locations, local, national and international, displayed correctly. I was able to navigate to new locations and zoom in and out. Using the route planner I was able to get directions to another location by walking, cycling and by car. The route was also correctly displayed on the map.
Directions by train did not work. I saw a "No provider for this route" message in the right hand panel. As I also see this in the previous version on gnome-maps (42.1-0ubuntu1) so I don't see this update as causing a regression.
I'm passing this update as being verified. If anyone disagrees then please feel free to document your findings and amend the tags accordingly.
