The good news: 3 of them already ship the required descriptor file:

*libretro-beetle-pce-fast (=Turbografx/PC Engine)
*bsnes_mercury_balanced.libretro (=Super Nintendo), the performance and accuracy versions lack it though
*libretro-gambatte

All the other cores need those files added.
