Comment 72 for bug 742544

A temporary fix is available in ppa:vanvugt/unity:
    https://launchpad.net/~vanvugt/+archive/unity

Once installed, the launcher will move to whichever screen you drag the black bar to in the Displays control panel.

A more permanent fix has also been proposed and is awaiting code review.
