Installing fonts in GNOME is as simple as navigating to System->Preferences->Appearance->”Fonts” Tab->”Details” Button->”Go to Fonts Folder” Button, and finally drag and drop your new fonts in this directory. There is another shortcut to get here however. You can open a nautilus window, press Ctrl + L and in the address text box type: “fonts:///”.
