Apparently this bug appears in Edgy and Feisty (at least people has told me so in IRC), but not in Dapper what I'm running... And what I told above was mainly just guesses. I booted Feisty Herd 3 (I know, it's old) to QEMU and I couldn't get gnome-breakout run (got same BadMatch-error, but my serial was 553, not 551. Otherwise it was same)... I'm upgrading my Herd3 to newer one now.
