Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-bluetooth

I own a Apple Magoc Mouse and run Ubuntu Maverick with all the latest updates installed. I can pair the mouse via Bluetooth abd everything works fine.... until i reboot my system. After GDM is loaded I can't move the cursor anymore. When i log in, I have to reenter the Bluetooth-Pin again, then everything is back to normal... Until the next reboot.

What is required to further investigate this bug? I am also affected on Ubuntu 10.10 i686.

I have the same problem when pairing with a mobile phone on Ubuntu 10.10 Netbook Remix. The bug seems to be in the bluez package however: when I install bluez en libbluetooth3 from Lucid and start bluetoothd by hand, I'm able to pair successfully using Maverick's bluetooth-wizard. I then reinstalled the Maverick version of bluez so bluetoothd is started properly on system boot.

issues here as well... ubuntu x86 here. the other issue that goes with it is it is always having me pair twice to connect... and i have to use one didgit and be fast, or else it times out and i have to reset the adapter and try again.

I have The same problem, when i connect my nokia c5 it always ask me to enter a pin.
In this way programs like BlueProximity are unusable.

Changed in gnome-bluetooth (Ubuntu):
status: New → Confirmed
