Sorry for a delayed response to comment #43. The suggested command:
grep "pulseaudio.*bluetooth" /var/log/syslog
produced NO OUTPUT.

The output from "pactl list" is uploaded as attachment, but there is no sign of any entry with text:
module-bluetooth-discover
