Can you please explain in a bit more detail what it is doing? Is it a white box and thats it, does it show anything and just sit there? Are you on 32bit or 64bit system? What version of ubuntu are you currently seeing this problem? Please provide any other if that you feel is important. What version of gnash? and can you please provide a screenshot of what you mean?

It just shows large characters (letters/numbers) over the video, and the video, and the video doesn't play at all. I'm using Gutsy Gibbon Tribe 2 on a 32 bit system with Gnash 0.6

Yep thats what i get as well im gonna try a few other things and see what i find.

Hi Everyone, yep me too.

I am running Kubuntu Fiesty, and have adobe flash player working, I can watch google vids and Youtube and Peekvid and whole host of other things.But myspace doesn't always work.

 i suspect it is a failing on their part (myspace) not on the part of the flash software or the brouser or even the opperationg system, also a lot of the videos that are "broken" are the ones that really should not be there. For example the Transformers film, it is not out yet! and some episodes of sar trek etc..

it may just be me but I can veiw the ones that are obviously made by the person who uploaded it but cannot see the ones that I shouldn't be able to. If I am wrong please post. Also could. anyone try on windows or apple?

If I am correct Myspace just is not telling you that this video is not avail any more.

After further investigation, if you go to the page that shows the video then click on the link to get flash player and let adobe come up then click back it works ???

This bug still exists in Jaunty with Gnash 0.8.5. I've added a bug to the Gnash tracker at https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/index.php?25980

The bug still exist using kubuntu 9.10 myspace video plays but has a white box that stays on the video and is real choppy

works fine when not embeded on the page tho and works fine when I boot to a windows pc and go to the page

Tested and the issue must be firefox because it works fine in chrome

Is your Chrome installation using the Adobe or Gnash plugin ?
