2012-05-24 11:57:16 James description Description: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Release: 12.04 gm-notify: Installed: 0.10.3-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 0.10.3-0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 0.10.3-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Be gentle -- this is my first bug report! If I can give more/better information, lemme know :) Upon notification of a new email, I click the messaging icon, followed by the the Google Mail "Inbox [#] pull-down menu item. This causes my browser (FF 12) to open and begin navigating to "https://mail.google.com/mail/#". At the same time, a new zombie process shows up in 'top' and 'System Monitor': xdg-open 27053 james 20 0 0 0 0 Z 0.0 0.0 0:00.00 xdg-open <defunct> This zombie process will persist until restarting or manually killing it. Meanwhile, gm-notify continues to function. I'm guessing this is a minor bug, with no apparent detriments to performance or function, but I thought I should send in a report in case it is a sign of a more serious problem.
