Be gentle -- this is my first bug report! If I can give more/better information, lemme know :)

Upon notification of a new email, I click the messaging icon, followed by the the Google Mail "Inbox [#]" pull-down menu item. This causes my browser (FF 12) to open and begin navigating to "https://mail.google.com/mail/#". At the same time, a new zombie process shows up in 'top' and 'System Monitor': xdg-open

This zombie process will persist until restarting or manually killing it. Meanwhile, gm-notify continues to function. I'm guessing this is a minor bug, with no apparent detriments to performance or function, but I thought I should send in a report in case it is a sign of a more serious problem.
