It's still happening to my servers too.

It looks like they are being all hit (12 of them) at the same time. This is after an apt-get update / upgrade cycle and a reboot.

$ cat /etc/lsb-release
DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=14.04
DISTRIB_CODENAME=trusty
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS"

$ apt-cache show libc6 | grep Version
Version: 2.19-0ubuntu6.11
