text boxes move out of control

Bug Description
Binary package hint: glabels
When I enter text with the text tool, then go to the style tab and change any of the settings like text alignment of italics I expect the text box to stay where it is and apply the new settings.
Instead, when a style is changed the text box jumps to the upper left corner of the program.
