The bug exists still in the new karmic release - fprint works fine with gdm, screen-locking and in the terminal, but gksu does not give any message, that you should swipe the finger. However, if I swipe my finger, the command is executed as root.
Starting gksu in a terminal it prints the message on a terminal, but no graphical message.
