This bug report is being closed due to your last comment regarding this being fixed with an update. For future reference you can manage the status of your own bugs by clicking on the current status in the yellow line and then choosing a new status in the revealed drop down box. For other people who still experience slow printing it is better to file a seperate bug report with a good description of the problem and as a minimum the apport-collect information as described here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems if you still can reproduce in a supported release, since it is difficult to tell without any further information if you are facing the same problem as Martin G Miller.
