The logs show your machine is *always* using Wayland. It's the option to use Xorg that might be missing.

summary: - Wayland option missing in my os
+ Xorg login option missing

I wonder if we're seeing undocumented behaviour of the WaylandEnable=true option in /etc/gdm3/custom.conf whereby Xorg support gets disabled since you flipped the value from false to true. Please try commenting out that whole line again.

Please also attach a photo of the login screen during password entry to confirm the bug is still happening.

Commented that line. But I need atleast one day time to tell you whether it's crashing or not

Btw it didn't crashed after doing changes as you asked me to do.

If the problem is crashes causing the login option to become hidden then I haven't seen it in any logs yet at least.

No after logging into the system after some time the laptop cursor stops moving. You only used the word crash previously that's why I used.

You asked me to raise the different bug for xorg and Wayland

Check which bug you're commenting in:

Bug 2033253 is about Xorg/Wayland.
Bug 2033229 is about the touchpad cursor not moving.

Shivam Tiwari (st123) wrote :

Actually I thought cursor not moving is related to xorg server that's why I raised choosing that option in Ubuntu error.

I was just relating through previous bug and you suggested me to raise different bug because this could be the issue like Wayland or xorg is missing that means I was just telling how this bug originated.
