Bug Description

My cursor stops moving but using peripherals it works and also local networks are not shown in wifi panel.
Please look into this it reduces my productivity.

Can you please try selecting 'Ubuntu' or 'Ubuntu on Wayland' at the login screen?

Do you mean "not selectable" as in you don't get a menu in the corner of the login screen?

Thanks. This suggests a crash occurred when trying to launch with Wayland and that option was removed automatically. So please open a separate bug about the Wayland option being missing.

Wayland should be enabled already. It will only get hidden on each boot if something crashed when trying to start it.

Also check that you haven't accidentally disabled it in /etc/gdm3/custom.conf when you said you enabled it.

Now it is not crashed from last half an hour.
But facing issue for network. Wifi is not showing available devices locally.
