Comment 55 for bug 150193

Have changed to KDM at work, can now connect with xming but not with cygwin !!! If I end the xming session it crashes, this never happens on feisty before.
Something went totally wrong with xdmcp in gutsy, and i think taking every newest deb from lenny is really not always a good idea, i feel like a alpha-tester...
Has someone test older versions of the gdm packet? In the gutsy repos are no older debs after the release anymore. :-(
Nomachine NX works great but only for 2 users, (or a working freenx with a free client).
We need xdmcp functionality at work for our very old clients (P2 - 350MHz etc). If xdmcp is politically not wanted please give us an alternative or an implementation/replacement for xdmcp (for example freenx integrated in gdm with secure over a ssh-connection)...BUT we need an remote desktop!
Please let us know what we have to do, that we can get xdmcp to work...
