Same problem here. I can connect to whathever host i want with the feisty pc (even to the gutsy one), but there is no way to connect to whathever from the gutsy pc (i can't connect even to feisty and fedora). i still can see the hosts fine but trying to connect to the makes the nvidia logo shown and then gdm crashes entirely or just returns to the normal login window. i can use fine from the same computer other solutions like xnest.
The Steve's workaround worked for me to connect to the gutsy machine from the feisty one
