Bug Description

gconf-editor crashes when I attempt to change a value within it. I do this by going to system->gstreamer->0.8->default and try to change the audiosink and gconf-editor crashes with the following error to the terminal.

*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x082ef750 ***

I have 2.14.0-0ubuntu1.

With me it just freezes gconf-editor with *** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (out): 0x08258a60 ***
I have the same version of gconf-editor and am on Dapper with the 2.6.15-19-686 kernel.
I'm also attaching a strace

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

Note that a strace is really verbose and not useful for a crash usually. You can read https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash on how to get a backtrace which is useful
