Sponsored! Two things to note here:

1) This introduces a new binary package so we'll need an Archive Admin to approve it.

2) The debian/copyright file needs to be updated with the next release. The two new postinst and prerm files come from Google and are not owned by Canonical, so an exception to the debian/* copyright needs to be mentioned.
