Hello,

I'm afraid it's far more useful to port these drivers to GCC 4.x, rather
than keep around a legacy compiler. Eventually, you will find kernel
drivers that don't compile with GCC 3.x, and then you will be in for
a big headache. It's best to get the porting done now, while it's still
relatively easy.
