TwoDual core CPUs x86_64 workstation running 2.6.9-34 kernel (Red Hat Es 4
Workstation) with 8Gb RAM.
I have a couple of 2+Tb LVM arrays.
gam_server using 85-95% of one CPU.

Not sure when this issue started or what set it off.
