Bug Description

Hello,

There is a little problem with Gajim global menu and "Edit" entry : after installation it was OK, but now at each start, I get false entries titles in the Edit sub-menu (please see attached image) :

Instead of Accounts - Profile, Avatar - Preferences - Plugins (on the right), I get : Network - Properties - Preferences - Disconnect (left on the screenshot) !

Clicking on the entries opens the right window, just the names are wrong, no problem with other sub-menus normally...

Thanks in advance !

I also reported the bug on Gajim's tracker, but according to the developer, problems comes from Ubuntu / Unity :
https://trac.gajim.org/ticket/7269

Another screenshot (Gajim-Menu-2) with Gajim maximized window : first menu "Actions" is OK, same for "View" or "Help", only the "Edit" is not for appearing texts...

And if I click on "Deconnecter", it opens the plugins window, as expected, but the menu is not "Plugins", very strange...

Gajim's author explained that it is not a problem with french translation because the text we see there is text associated with the icon Gajim uses : "

Then report the bug to Unity. As I said, they don't use the word in Gajim's sources, but the one linked to the icon".

OK. Problem only appears when I activate the option to have the icons in the menu. With Ubuntu default configuration, Edit menu is OK.

So, it seems that icons displayed are the wrong ones, and as text seen depends from them, it explains why the commands written are not the right ones.

What could explain that and why just on Gajim Edit menu ?

Thanks for your comment, I was desperate to be the only user with this problem !

You use Kubuntu, so you don't have Unity, that's right ? But KDE and Global Menu program :
http://code.google.com/p/gnome2-globalmenu/

If yes, I'll forward these informations to Gajim bugtracker.
