Comment 32 for bug 358654

Chandra, I followed your directions to the letter and my main machine is now running and even has today's updates done. Thank you so much I must now do my second machine as I held off on its updates til I could successfully get at least one machine in the house able to get onto the internet. I surely hope this bug does not happen to every single machine when it updates as my sister will be in a panic. I set her up with a 32 bit version of Ubuntu 10.04 Both my machines are 64 bit. Thanks again
