...over hamachi.

To reproduce
1. join hamachi vpn network, connect and go online
2. if using vnc, connect over ssh and start a tightvnc session:
    $ tightvncserver -geometry 2048x1106
3. from a different machine over the WAN, connect to ubuntu over vnc or LogMeIn
4. launch xfreerdp and attempt to type in MS Word or Notepad, etc.:
    xfreerdp -u <user> -d <domain> -g 1678x972 -a 32 -x 0x00000180 -k 0x00000409 --plugin cliprdr <windows-hostname>

Expected behavior
keyboard input

Actual behavior
no keyboard input

Notes
mouse works fine
xfreerdp works as expected when launched from the physical machine (versus over a remote vnc connection)
vpn required to punch through firewall, so unable to test without it
