I expected the package was updated and replaced by the previous version, which is still in my computer, the "fp-units-rtl-2.6.2".

The package was installed but broken in the system. I'll have to uninstall or go to the official site developer, and get the latest version, until they fix the bug.

Summary of that bug: It seems that you are not using a software package provided by the official Ubuntu repositories. Because of this the Ubuntu project can not support or fix your particular bug. Please report this bug to the provider of the software package. Thanks!

Ubuntu never provided a fpc package with real content, it has always been a meta-package.

In your case, please remove fpc first and then install it.

apt-get install fpc
