The GS output contains the proper pcl commands to select Tumble as confirmed in comment #1; there must be a problem with the printer interpreting the PCL tumble command. I don't see what else we can do with this problem without sample printer codes that select tumble successfully. Maybe there is a proprietary or device dependent escape sequence on the printer.
