I tried both Magnus's (#55) and Ray Strode's (#94) fix. Both of them fix the issue of choppy sound in flash sites.

I just tested the amazon music preview site in firefox, after the song played nicely, keeping firefox open, I tried to play some music in clementine, mplayer or just gnome music preview. All of them failed to produce any sound. I needed to close firefox to be able to hear music from hard drive.

Somehow, the fix in firefox is blocking the soundcard access by other applications.

Any clue?
