Computers in general allow people to overwrite memory, you should all get rid of your computers as they are a security threat. Stop blaming glibc maintainers with the faults of others. Stop blaming Fedora. And, for the love of your chosen deity, stop filling my mail account with junk.

Every reply you post reaches at least 120 people who are not Fedora developers. This is not a popularity contest. This is not democracy. You cannot force the devs to fork glibc and maintain the patches for the rest of their lives. If you want this changed, go file bugs with glibc and convince drepper to either pull that change or make it depend on the target CPU (let people explicitly target machines where the new memcpy does make things faster).
