I would think Fedora maintainers would be quite capable of doing that. Fix glibc to help your users. Then explain to glibc maintainers exactly why you did so (e.g. you could quote Linus). Stop passing the buck (and stop blaming Adobe, and glibc), and stop treating users as though they don't matter.
