It's NOT about the flash plugin, it's about a change in how a glibc call is handled. This breaks an unknown amount of packages and introduces erratic an possibly insecure behavior for an unknown number of Fedora's own applications. It just happens to hit the common user base the hardest on the 64 bit flash plugin, but the effect on stability and security of the entire distribution is much bigger than just the plugin.
