In some cases (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/35606) including mine, this plugin hangs the browser up on many sites with "illegal instruction" error message.
Having made some searches, this is due to one missing cpu flag ("lahf_lm") used by the plugin.
The gentoo team has found a workaround to it. http://bugs.gentoo.org/268336
If necessary a wrapper emulating the missing flag is compiled and replaces the real .so library.
