I trusted you... now not working!

8.10 64bit installation of Ubuntu...
I also had *npwrapper.libflashplayer.so* listed in the directory of: *
/usr/lib/firefox/plugins
*After the sudo rm code you provided, I also went in and deleted that and
added the downloaded and extracted: *libflashplayer.so*
Is this correct?

If so, it does not work. I wonder if it must be registered with firefox
somehow?
