and then shut up unless you have something to contribute which will make the bug move forward.
- Back-seat driving doesn't help. It may even make developers *less* willing to try their hand at fixing the bug.
- If you think you know how to fix the problem, then feel free to ASSIGN the bug to yourself, attach the proposed patch as an attachment, and have it reviewed by some appropriate reviewer. In this case, https://wiki.mozilla.org/Modules/Core#Plugins might be of help to find who to ask for a review.
