You forgot the last step, which would be "switch back to IE7 telling that the new browser you're recommending is not working properly".

I'm not making this comment in order to make anyone nervous, this is just what happened to me today when I was trying to convince people to switch to FF 3 (mostly that we're trying to reach a record nowadays!). Having people convinced for half an hour, then seeing them switch back to the original product + telling their friend that this new product I'm recommending is not working is really making things though.

So please...
