I have been using the alpha release of 64-bit Flash since a couple of months, and I haven't noticed any problems with it so far. It would be great if Ubuntu could use this version instead of the 32-bit version. Unfortunately the license terms for the alpha says that "you are not permitted to use or otherwise rely on the software for any commercial or production purpose", which might be a problem. Either way, it's a good work-around.
