Comment 5 for bug 310210

Is there any reason why this is packaged with Ubuntu? there are thousands of add-ons but only a handful that are packaged.

Would it not make more sense that these be removed from the Ubuntu packaging system and that users allow the browser to add and maintain the compatibility of firefox add-ons?
